Charlie's House

Tamworth, Staffordshire 2004

This Investigation was done after a local newspaper had published a story about a lady who's house was making her so uneasy to live in she moved out until the house was cleared. The story may seem a bit lacking as were not going into the details as to why the lady moved out  due to the personal nature and not being able to restrict the age of whom is viewing this page.

The uneasy feelings came about when the new owner of the house found out that the previous owners had used ouija boards with total disregard to themselves and others. Leaving a portal open for spirits good and bad to pass through whenever they felt.

During the preliminary visit Myself (Nick), Steve and Karl entered the house which felt cold and had a strange atmosphere. Whilst walking around with digital camera's and video camera's we were experiencing several strange phenomena, firstly whilst in the kitchen a cat was clearly heard meowing in the kitchen although all windows were shut and no cats visible outside after investigation. I experienced a feeling of somebody rushing past me down the hall whilst filming towards the living room, there was a rush of air in my ear and a cold blow on my hand.

During the Investigation

Two Unknown shadows were seen on the locked off camera's firstly at the top of the stairs and an hour later at the doorway leading into the living room. These have never been explained, in both circumstances no team members were with in the vicinity to produce these shadows

We held two séance's in the master bedroom where the most uneasy feelings were being felt. On the first we discovered a man called George whom had come through the portal, this person was not a nice man and was difficult to control. We had found out some nasty information about George and why he was making Charlie feel uneasy. Not much else came through due to George's overwhelming strength. On the second séance George was back, This time our mission was to pass George on to the other side where he would be happier. This was achieved after some 20 minutes of conversing with George and finally he passed to the light. Straight after the séance was closed down the feelings in the room had changed there was a much lighted atmosphere and the smell of lavender, this was strange as Charlie hadn't got any around the house but there was this faint smell, we would find out more later!

The third séance was held in the living room, during which John was sitting on the settee whilst I was filming him, He was in deep thought and was seeing a dark figure standing next to him watching the group, as this vision came to him and he opened his eyes to tell us a large orb was caught on camera. The orb moved from by johns side and off towards the other side of the room this orb was quite large but also very fast, no draughts were found in the room, Neither any fly's or moths. Further into the séance two children came forward Rebecca and Tom, Becca as she was liked to be called was 6 years old and her brother Tom was aged 8. Both had died in a house fire in 1981 ( further research hasn't been able to find any thing on this fire and deaths). Later a man came forward calling himself Harold, he told of another spirit called Cleadi or kledi (don't know of the spelling) .

The fourth séance was again in the living room. First spirit to return was Tom who gave us more information on his parents, His mom Kath and his dad Michael. they died along with the children at another house but did not tell were apart from Tamworth, also his dad was a builder. Tom also told us his pet cat was here in spirit to and that the cats name was ginger ( that explains the mystery cat on the preliminary visit)! The spirit know as cleadi has the smell of lavender attached to her and was a very proud lady, That was all we could get out of her. Harold returned to give us more information to, His surname was Yardley, he was 75 years old and died in 1964 of cancer, again that was all we could ascertain.

After moving every spirit on to the light the house seemed a much more pleasant environment for Charlie and her children to live in. Since then we have heard that she still senses the children playing on the stairs but they only seem to return under visitation and are not grounded there.
