9.15pm – Main Area
Carol has a headache on one side, stronger in chapter house.
Colder in house, not nice atmosphere. Sad emotion.
Carol believes that’s it’s a church.
She imagines them sitting here in a line.

By the stream carol wanted to come here. She believes there was water around. Fireplace in main building is first floor.
Carol points at church.
Not just used as one purpose, kings & queen stayed here, then fortress, then abbey.
Tudor, before henry VIII, maybe VII.
Carol has a bad headache, Sarah asked why that means. Carol explains it’s blocking, by spirit.
Courtyard area, workers lived there.
Steve senses workers joisting.
Carol senses monks walking around.
The main building has two levels, Sarah confirms yes it was two levels.
Braughton, Samuel. Carol comes out with this name.
Sad over by the chapter.
Chapter has lots of sadness. Many lives lost, fighting.
Carol asks was the chapter room a meeting room ? Sarah confirms , not exactly.
Carol believes there was a dungeon around the chapter. Carol thinks the arch on the outer of the chapter is religious, very emotional.
Carol asks if a lady owned it, was it a castle ? She was sad, was imprisoned. Sarah confirms yes.
Is she seen walking around ? Sarah confirms yes.
Has she been seen by the fireplace ?

Carol says it’s a mini village.
11.10pm – Statue Field & Woods
Ann sees face on the statue’s chest.
Ann, Joy & carol touching statue.
Steve sees angel on statue’s chest.
At stone in field, it’s warm, Carol & Joy sit on the stone.
Carol says we are being watched, doesn’t know who by. From corner opposite to statue.
Carol gives a name, Sarah. By river in woods.
She was drowned in river.
Maybe a nun, don’t think it was a nun.
No feelings.
(Sarah explains that the statue is of a nun)
Back at the statue, sad nun.
All ask why she is facing the buildings ?
Viaduct, Carol hears footsteps.
People are being pushed by spirits.

Carol asks if a female walks, cream & grey colour, walks under viaduct.

Carol saw lady cross over pathway. Cream & Grey clothing.

9.35pm –Woods & Field
John stopped & looking around. Picked up on forgeon man.
Asked if there was encampment, John picks up on women. Women washing in the stream. Swords medieval clothing about the 900’s. Big battle. Moved into field. Battle there, shouting war type voice, celtic. Moved to the lady statue. (nun)
9.50pm
Someone has come along to stop something happening, execution or something like that. John wants to say “they are the king” Really primitive.
Moved to the stone in the field. John keeps getting the name. Last name begins with a “G”. Someone killed here or executed but something has gone on to stop it. It is a king but not the king of England. John is touching the stone & picks up the name “Charles”.
John picked up black death buring people about 1300’s. Nick asked if individual graves or mass. John say mass.
10.10pm
Moved to under the viaduct. 1800 bridge, already built. Lady called Madeline. Man in a black cape.
Lady murdered here, feeling man & lady in the stream but hidden around the corner 1806. Here a while, young lovers.
There is a women seen around here. The women was well to do & the man a worker.
Someone has been hit by a train. This was a road, highway man. Carriage stopped man & lady killed. Madeline is seen around here. Steve saw 2 shadows going up a little lane. He also gets the highway man & someone getting shot.
John & Steve felt that there was highway men in the area. People hiding behind trees & in the woods.
Albert Tennsion had a message to take to Clawton but he never got there.
11.00pm
Move to the ruins. John picked up someone running around the ruins, he feels that this is a sanctuary for someone. One part feels as if a bedroom, wooden benches, like big tables. Steve can hear whistling.
John picked up on someone being seen standing at the side of the road after a car accident. Women & baby. Lorry gone off road & hit something, cold & icy the lorry hit the women & child (near the bus shelter) 1940’s/1950’s.
Women screaming, lorry came from the right. The women can see the lorry coming. A man is seen presenting himself white but further up the road. He has been pushed out as if disgraced.
Away from the ruins & out in the field near the road. A body against the wall, male brown abbot habit as if he is not a monk, pretending, been found out, name began with a “H”.
John moves further down the field & feels really depressed. John gets a person being dragged out kicking and screaming. There is lots of death around here. Time period 13th century. This gate not always been here the entrance is the opposite end.
Walking back towards the ruins, John picks up on the name Thomas Beckett.
Joan think the king has killed him.
John picks up on the Ferris linked with Tamworth Castle. Lots of blood shed here (no time period)
Nick walked John towards the section of the ruins near where the cars are parked.
John says he gets the feeling that someone was harboured here. John can hear horses.
Moved to section 2, lady crying she is religious.
Camera’s batteries ½ full & both switching off at the same time, then went back to ½ full.
John said did Mary Queen of Scots come here. Lady talks in French but being told latin.
She is pissed off as she has been thrown/imprisoned in here. Women is shouting. John feels this is a prison & maybe stopped here on the way somewhere else for a short time.
John asked if there had been a fire, was this pulled down because of religious connection. Stopped at midnight.
This was run by monks but an army came through smashed everything. Round heads time. Name Charles, feeling that the far field there was lots of executions.
0.40am
Whole team 1&2 under the viaduct & area around.
John picked up on Madeline again. Asked out but no response. On the road Carol & Sarah saw lights that was trying to form, we believe into the White Lady.
John picked up earlier near the gate the name Hector.
Standing on the bridge over the stream. Mark is picking up lights in the bushes.
Back to the Ruins.
